“Food is not rational. Food is culture, habit, craving and identity.”
– Jonathan Safran Foer
It was the first day of the Bengali Valentines Day, The Saraswati Pujo and the mind of foodies are like, “Lets go out and have some Non-Veg food out there” because its specifically restricted in the house due to pujo! 🤣
As the day is all about draping sarees, which people like me cannot handle so well, so I chose to drop in at a café near me in a walking distance.
🚲Location: Though the original location says Teghoria, but its not located on Teghoria, but Haldiram. It is located just opposite to the Charnock Hospital.

🚲Ambience- *The ambience is quite good with cycle themed chairs and tables. Even 3 of their chairs had paddles in them.

* They had racks where UNO cards, masks and Menu cards were kept, the games tagged wall to be precise!

*They had pretty lamps hanged on every table!

*The walls were brick-themed which provides good photographing background!
*They also have a CD and Tape decorated wall which looks really pretty.

*They had a wall of fame having sticky notes with good wishes from customers who had earlier visited this restaurant!

🚲 Service and Behaviour- This is a self serving restaurant where you have to pick up the menu, and the food from the reception. But when you are engrossed in gossips with your friend, they can even bring the food to your table too! So, interaction with them didn’t happen much!
🚲Food- Coming to the main part, they are having an amazing offer of buy 2 get one free offer on food excluding combos and small tea/coffee. The lowest priced dish becomes free. Apart from that on Valentines day, visit with your partner to get a free dessert including extra discounts on food. Also, they can arrange for a romantic candle light dinner! Thats quite amazing! We ordered Non Veg Platter, Chicken Salami Pizza and Pink Lady Mocktail. Here is my review on the food-
🍗Non-Veg Platter(INR 389/-): It contained 4 pieces of chicken nuggets, 2 pieces of Fish Fingers, 2 pieces of Chicken Lollipop, 4 pieces of Dry Chili Chicken (with capsicums, bell peppers and onions). The platter satisfied me quite well! I loved the chicken nuggets and fish fingers very much as they were very crispy and tasty.

🍕 Chicken Salami Pizza(INR 239/-): Coming to the worst part of the whole experience, the pizza! The pizza bread was completely burnt and they served it like that only! It felt like a biscuit! The cheese tasted bitter due to over baking! Also, the preparation of pizza was not properly done. The pizza was tangy totally! It seemed that they just added on the ingredients hurrily! This was one of my worst experience at any café!

🍹Pink Lady Mocktail(INR 109/-): This was served as the complimentary food in the beginning only. It contained strawberry syrup, soda, ice cubes, some strawberry jelly at the bottom and ofcourse vanilla ice cream at the top! It was quite refreshing and tasted really well. Also, I loved the decoration with the moctail umbrella!

Overall review: Due to the worst experience with the pizza, I am unable to rate them more than 3/5 stars.
Here are some of the cons-
1. They take a really long time to serve the dishes. They took about 1 hour to serve us.
2. They did not handle customer complaints properly. When my friend complained about the burnt pizza, there was just a meagre sorry from their side! No compensation was also done and we had to eat the burnt pizza as we didn’t want to waste the food!
3. The prices are high as compared to their food quality!
